The best quote starts with the vehicle details
Tell the dispatcher the vehicle year, make, model, key type, and where the vehicle is parked. If you know whether the key is a metal blade, transponder key, remote-head key, or proximity smart fob, include that as well.
If the issue is an ignition or lockout, describe the symptom rather than guessing the repair. A key that will not turn, a blade broken inside the cylinder, and a fob that stopped authorizing the engine are different jobs.
Please keep personal information limited to what is needed for the service conversation. The technician will still verify identity and vehicle ownership before performing access or key-control work.
